Agnes Little Bell left her home in Lochmaben, Scotland in 1839, aged 2, to travel to Australia with her family.
Antonio Pavarno had left his home in Italy to travel to Australia in search of gold. He arrived in Daylesford Victoria in 1850, and walked to the gold fields of Creswick. He participated in the Eureka Rebellion in Ballarat & in 1856 married Agnes Little Bell.
Antonio & Agnes had eight children together, before Agnes died at the age of thirty six leaving Antonio to care for their six surviving young children. He lived in Creswick to the grand old age of 97.
In homage to Antonio & Agnes, their descendants Gaylie, Ali & Milo, have named this tiny Art Space in beautiful Yarraville Village 'Little Bell'.
